Meet Our Staff


Jessica Ann Hamilton, President of Client Development and Chief Academic Officer

With over 23 plus years of experience in client development, Ms. Hamilton has been with Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute & U.S. Adjusting Services since its inception in 2005. Some of her duties at U.S. Adjusting Services & Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute include develop, manage pipeline and form strong business relationships with key customer contacts.  She also keeps up to date with important market developments and trends as well as understanding the end to end customer workflow and how to tailor your approach accordingly.  Ms. Hamilton provides feedback and ideas to the executive officers.

At the Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute, Jessica Hamilton is the Chief Academic Officer responsible for the administration of all academic policies, programs, facilities, and budgetary matters. 

Jessica is a co-owner of Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute & U.S. Adjusting Services and the daughter of Mickey and Sue Hamilton.  Jessica is the President of the Dallas Claims Association- now voted in by her peers for the 2nd year. 



Roy Kneese - National Lead Trainer

Mr. Kneese has been with Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute for 2 years.  Prior to his current role, Mr. Kneese was a manager with Nationwide Insurance where he served for over 30 years.  Mr. Kneese has held positions as a Severe BI Adjuster, Auto Field Adjuster, Property Field Adjuster, SIU Adjuster, Commercial Field Adjuster, Claims Trainer and Claims Field Manager.  Mr. Kneese was responsible for investigating losses, establishing applicable negligence, establishing damage amounts and settling losses.  As a manager Mr. Kneese managed a team of 9 adjusters, and cross trained them to do Auto and Property losses. He provided oversight for Auto Drive where he reviewed claim activity, ensured proper staffing and development of adjusters, and oversaw catastrophe operations. Mr. Kneese has multiple catastrophes under his belt including hurricanes Andrew, Katrina, Wilma, Rita.  Audit files, establish authority levels and oversee adjuster proficiency are a few of his strengths.




Melissa Cullen - Executive Assistant to the President of Client Development

Melissa Cullen joined U.S. Adjusting Services and the Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute in May of 2010 as the Executive Assistant to Jessica Hamilton, President of Client Development.  Melissa continues to work closely with the President of Client Development to ensure all of the below items are completed on a consistent basis. •  Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President of Client Development including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments • Completing expense reports • Composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential • Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings. • Plans, coordinates and ensures the President of Client Development’s schedule is followed and respected.  • Successfully completed the submission for the Post 9/11 GI Bill to enable students to use their GI Bill money to attend the Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute for classes. Maintains all records for all veteran’s and maintains compliance and enrollment for all veteran’s. • Maintains all compliance for Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute requirements for Department of Insurance in each required state. • Assist’s President of Client Development in planning and implementation of all large marketing events. • Successfully completed and submitted all required paperwork for U.S. Adjusting Services and the Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute to receive their Minority Status.
